Sara Taylor Modern Art
Meet Sara Taylor. Sara is a US based self-taught acrylic fluid abstract artist residing in Sandpoint Idaho. Her inspiration stems primarily from nature, science and the desire to create beauty. What inspires her work is the organic reactions and motion of fluid acrylics. She has a constant curiosity of what might happen
next and how the unique outcome will enter the world.
It wasn't until the renovation of her family home in Sandpoint, Idaho that she discovered fluid art. After designing the home interior, she was left flooded with inspiration. Sara set out to create a large dramatic piece of art for the master bedroom. Having the perfect work space, her journey into fluid art had begun. Sara built her business primarily on YouTube, sharing her process with thousands of viewers.
Sara is passionate about creating for others on a commission base. She loves to teach both virtually or in personal workshops. She was a teacher at the 2022 Fluid Art Experience held in Dallas Texas. This is a top of industry event, taking place biannually in various locations.
Sara is passionate about her family, three daughters, amazing husband, yoga, and food! Her aesthetic is what she loves, and he she hopes you love it too!

INTRO PEARLS I
8.30am - 11.30am
This introductory course will focus on the PEARL technique. We will mix the basecoat and puddle paints as a class and I will teach you how to find the perfect consistency. I will demonstrate a pearl painting; you will have the opportunity to create at least two of your own works.

INTERMEDIATE PEARLS I

In this intermediate PEARLS course, I will show you how to use multi colored basecoats offering a tutorial on advanced pallet knife work. This class will focus on color theory and abstract composition. We will experiment with the cloud over pearl technique using high-flow acrylics. I will demonstrate and you will have the opportunity to create two pieces.

INTRO TO PEARLS II
8.30am - 11.30am
In the second introductory course you will be working with multiple colors of PEARL basecoat; exploring ways to bring color and composition into your fluid art. The emphasis will be color theory and knowing when and how to use a pallet knife. I will demonstrate and you will have the opportunity to create two of your own works.

INTERMEDIATE PEARLS II

In this second Intermediate course, I will show you how to use the translucent basecoat to achieve varied results in your pearl paintings. We will start with an underpainting and explore methods to introduce color and composition into your work. I will demonstrate and you will have the opportunity to create two of your own works.

ADVANCED PEARLS I

Bring your paintings from ANY of your classes (or home), learn how to do dry work to bring your work to the next level. We will use the translucent basecoat over an existing painting to achieve new beautiful effects. You will have the opportunity to create one-two pearl painting and fine tune other works.

ADVANCED PEARLS II

I will show you new ways to use your acrylics and mediums to create abstract art and different pearl effects. Introducing a variety of high-end paints talk about different ways to use them. This is an exciting exploratory class, teaching new ways to use fluid acrylic! I will demonstrate and you will have the opportunity to create two of your own works.
