Fortunately, I was exposed to art very early in my life. My mother was a painter too - working with oils, acrylics and watercolor - and she encouraged me to explore my artistic side as well. I dabbled with everything… did anyone else go through a macrame phase in the late 70’s, early 80’s? Drawing, writing and painting have always been my primary expression, and I’ve taught many ‘paint and sip’ classes because I love inspiring people to create.

When I discovered fluid art in 2018 I was instantly obsessed. I knew from my very first flip cup that I had found my style. The possibilities are endless! I love to experiment, and I feel a bit like a mad scientist every time I step into my studio. My favorite question to ask is ‘What if I…’

Besides specific fluid art techniques, in Nate’s classes you will learn how to build a color palette that has depth, contrast and balance, as well as tips and tricks to finding your own unique style. It’s time to BE FEARLESS!
